Dan A. Klinger, President of K. Hovnanian American Mortgage, LLC is responsible for the complete control of operations including the Branch Network comprised of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Texas, Arizona, Ohio and California. 

Prior to joining the Company in 2000, Mr. Klinger was President of Preferred Home Mortgage Co., a subsidiary of Engle Homes.  He has also worked for CTX Mortgage Co., a subsidiary of Centex Homes.  He has been in the mortgage business for 22 years.  Prior to the entering the mortgage business, Mr. Klinger was a high school history teacher and head baseball coach. 

He was named Miami Herald and Ft. Lauderdale Sun Sentinel coach of the year in 1982.  Mr. Klinger is an alumnus of the University of Michigan, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Education.
